-FALL HARVEST SALE: Saturday, November 22nd. All are encouraged to make crafts, desserts and other homemade goodies for auction. Chicken Pastry dinners (entree, green beans, yams, and dessert) will be sold beginning at 4pm.
-COMMUNITY THANKSGIVING SING: Tuesday November 25th. hosted at Friendly Chapel. Finger foods will be served. ***For those donating finger foods, please make triple your normal amount***
-HANGING OF THE GREENS: Sunday, November 30th at 6pm Evening Service.
-LADIES AUXILLARY AND BROTHERHOOD CHRISTMAS DINNER: December 6th, 6:30pm. Dinner will be held at Holt’s BBQ at Highway 301 in Smithfield.
-FRIENDLY CHAPEL CHRISTMAS SUPPER: Sunday, December 7th at 6pm Evening Service.
-ADULT CHRISTMAS CANTATA: Sunday, December 14th at 11am Morning Service.
-YOUTH CHRISTMAS PROGRAM: Sunday, December 21st at 6pm Evening Service. Santa will make an appearance after the program. Parents, please bring one wrapped gift for each child you bring to the program.
-NEW YEAR’S EVE WATCH SERVICE: Wednesday, December 31st at 10pm. Finger Foods will be served.
-CHURCH LIBRARY: Ms. Hazel is collecting books and videos for a new Church Library. If you have any items to donate, please let her know.
-The 2008/2009 Awana year has begun! All children ages 2 to 13 are welcome. Awana is held Sunday evenings from 5:45 to 7:15 in the Fellowship Hall.
